South Country Co-Op Becomes a Sponsor
The Hat Art Club is delighted to announce that we have received a generous sponsorship from South Country Co-op for our digital community arts programming.
“Arts and Culture bring great value to our communities,” said Carmen Hudson, Director of Marketing and Community Relations for South Country Co-op.
The company sponsors a number of community initiatives, including the Medicine Hat and District Health Foundation, the Taber & District Health Foundation, HALO, the regional food banks, and many more.
“We’re excited to continue to explore new technologies that allow us to inspire and create an outlet for creativity in our community,” says Bev Duke, Hat Art Club Board President. “Our new digital education programs have made our art classes even more accessible and affordable to anyone, and helped create important social links while so many people are dealing with the isolating effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. It has also created ongoing employment opportunities for Alberta artists, and allowed the club to bring in award-winning instructors from all-over the province through the digital technology that this sponsorship makes possible.”
Our sincerest thanks to South Country Co-op for their visionary support of arts and culture in Medicine Hat and area.
